Plain and simple we as the church are the recipients of the glorious light of Jesus Christ who the Bible describes as the 'light of the world'. Jesus Christ simply is truth, light and life, it doesn't get any better than Him and far be it from us, the recepients of His light, to keep it to ourselves or to somehow try to cover up His light. Instead the Bible makes the following command....
Matthew 5:16
In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

Luke 11:33
"No one lights
a lamp and puts it in a place where it will be hidden, or under a bowl.
Instead he puts it on its stand, so that those who come in may see the light."
That's what Fox Outreaches are about this year, taking the glorious light of our Lord beyond the container of our church building. Keep a look out because there's much to be done because, as the Bible says, the Lord has prepared some things for us to do...
Ephesians 2:10
For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
