YouChurch

The first meeting of YouChurch was held Sat 7th June.

YouChurch is a new idea created by members of Fox Valley. The idea is that you should be involved in the worship service. It is not just for entertainment, it is a time when we all can contribute.

It was a great time of sharing, worshiping and action. A great time of sharing and prayer  was held, with many of the attendees relating how God had blessed them over the last week. There were some great stories!

Later the group read about the difficult time being had in Zimbabwe. We then prayed for the country of Zimbabwe and wrote letters to the Zimbabwe embassy, the Prime minister of Australia, and the United Nations, calling for the Zimbabwe government to release the true results of the election, and abide by its result. Letters were also written to the Christian believers in the country, offering them prayer support and letting them know that Christians across the world were aware of the difficult circumstances they were enduring.
