What ?

The movie is called 'The Disposable Ones', here's a little about it...

'The Disposable Ones' explores the amazing strength and survival of Colombia's underprivileged children and child soldiers struggling to live amid harsh conditions, abuse and disease.

Halfway around the world, 'The Disposable Ones' begins in Australia where former Australian rugby league professional Jason Stevens is troubled by the plight of Colombia's children in crisis. Keen to discover how they survive, he travels to Colombia to explore what challenges they face daily and find out what he can do to help. There he meets a new friend, Henry, from Compassion Colombia, who introduces him to a number of children who demonstrate amazing survival and strength and whose hope lies in the life changing opportunities given through Compassion and the local church.

Why ?

For two reasons, the Redfern 'Week of Outreach' will be running and kids will be coming along to view the film, so make sure you say hello... also, Hoyts has recently been running the 'faith on film' festival which is a great opportunity for the local church to be ministered to by Christian film, in an actual movie theatre.

Who ?

This event is for Fox Valley / Mt Druitt church members and their friends. So if you're a regular at either of those churches or you're a friend of those churches then you are welcome. 

How Much ?

The event is free, however, only 150 seats are available, and seats are given out on a first in best dressed basis, so be earily to secure your seat. If you miss out then never mind, there will be plenty of movies going on around you, although, of course you'll have to pay for those...
